The Land of Fantasia

In the world of Fantasia, the stories of the characters are very similar to the movies and cinematic moments in terms of individual personal plot, though occurred much differently here than the stories you may be used to due to this world containing all of them living in kingdoms bordering each other separated by land and sea. Every kingdom and civilization exist together, neighboring each other. Separated by land and sea as these diverse characters coexist in harmony. With varying technology, cultural beliefs, and wondrous magic, our world is never a boring sight to experience. Though this world contains a more realistic and mature depiction of Disney and Pixar, and that bittersweet Happily Ever After doesn't always happen.It is very easy to visualize a world full of Disney, much like our own in real life. Just like Earth, there's deserts, vast forests, jungles, and many different kinds of cities and towns with their own culture and architecture. In the world of Fables, it is no different. But instead of some of the places being labeled after a real-life country, it is instead depicted as fictional places in our lore. For example, there's no "Africa" in this world, so the Pride Lands are simply a kingdom that exists in the wilds where many sentient talking animals exist and live in harmony, ruled by the lions pride. The same for "Camelot" which in real life was in Europe. But instead, it is simply treated as a kingdom in the world of Disney called Camelot.

Fall of Evil

Years ago, those who lived in the light finally defeated the villains who sought to bring despair and pain upon them. Names like Jafar, Oogie Boogie, and Ursula still unspoken on the tongues of common citizens as it only brought painful memories. Even the Mistress of Evil herself Maleficent was gone. But the rulers of each major kingdom in our world agreed to continue to watch over and protect their homelands, for evil was like a disease. You may be able to stop it, but it'll never stay down for good. It's like a spreading corruption, and it would eventually be ready to infect the populace once more.

The Darkness

Deep in the land, on the highest peak of the tallest mountain. Lightning has struck. And with it came darkness. Green lightning that had been the remnant essence of Maleficent herself, somehow broke free from the other side and pierced the veil between reality. Her magic bringing her body back to the living. Engulfed in green flames and manifesting a new body on the mountain, her maniacal laughter cued a dark omen for our world, and she cast a great and powerful spell that brought back each and every villain in the land back to life as well. Though some needed more time to recover fully. Unbeknownst to the rest of the population, the villains were slowly returning, and their minions were starting to descend upon the civilian population.......

Non-Disney

There's a lot of animated sources that are not Disney or Pixar, but would also make sense in our world. Examples being the movies Swan Princess and Quest for Camelot. If you're unsure if something is not allowed, then please feel free to ask us. We want to incorporate as many sources as we can in order to provide as much personality and content to the world as possible. Refer to the "Banned" section for what is not allowed.

Magic

Magic runs through our world naturally, as it flows through all things. Though not many people possess the capability to make use of it. Some are taught, and some are born with special power due to them coming into the world on a special solstice or alignment of the planets. A prime example being Elsa, who was born on a special and very rare day. In fact, magic users are exceptionally rare in our world, and have often been associated with villainy. Many fear magic due to it's limitless potential, and many experienced users like the wizards Merlin and Yen Sid seek to keep the balance and make sure magic is never used for evil.

Romance

Love binds all things together. To feel love is to feel goodness. Falling in love is an easy thing to do, and often a very precious thing to keep hold of, as it could potentially define who you spend the rest of your life with. But only true love has any real meaning. True love has even been shown to hold such power that it can break even the strongest of curses. If you find this kind of love, make sure you never let it go, for it may be the most important thing in your life, and define your future.

Traveling

Transportation in our world varies greatly. Some people take carriages, horses, and even trains to go where they need to go. But then there are those who have unique means of traveling, like flying on a magic carpet, using pixie dust, or even flapping their big elephant ears! This world is separated by vast oceans/seas and large portions of lands that contain forests, valleys, and everything else in between! When traveling, just keep this in mind if your location has a sea or something by it. You'll need to cross it in a way that makes sense.

Death

Death is a very real thing in Disney, regardless of the maturity rating. But our server will actually allow death to be explained in detail when or if it ever happens. Because this is a 18+ server, being shot with arrows, guns, or even getting crushed and eaten can definitely happen in roleplay. You do not have invincible plot armor. Luckily there's ways of bringing people back to life, which often depends on the reasoning of the death. Have fun!

Curses and Enchantments

Many curses and enchantments that were once lifted in the movies, have now mysteriously returned. Prince Adam was turned back into The Beast, Rapunzel's long golden hair has returned, and Pinocchio seems to have turned back into a puppet! Strange magic is affecting our world, though some in varying ways. It seems some of these transformations can be controlled by emotion or sheer will, and some are back permanently. It is up to you to define how your curse or enchantment works if you have a character with one!

Each are separated into two categories. Core Stories are major plots that extend for long periods of time and affect the server as a whole in some way. Sometimes even spawning smaller events. Side Stories are smaller plots and usually either personal towards a group of individuals that need help, or is an event that leaked from a major story. She is gathering villains from across the land and has created an Evil council where rumors of secret meetings are being held in a secret location. Server Rules

1. Don't be a jerk, rude, or anything of the sort -
Do not be aggressive OOC, don't be horrible to everyone, or treat anybody like dirt. This also means no being transphobic, homophobic, racist, sexist, or anything like that.2. You can swear -
So long as you don't go overboard and do it excessively or use any slurs. Keep in mind, maturity is still expected.3. Do not link other servers without permission, or link any harmful materials/Ask for things -
Do not post invites to your server, or link NSFW content unless it's in the NSFW channel. Furthermore, linking anything such as viruses or illegal sites is strictly prohibited. DMing other members invites to a server is also not allowed, and very disrespectful. Furthermore, do not ask members for free things like accounts for streaming services or anything related to personal stuff.4. Don't Spam -
Pretty self explanatory.5. Use channels how they're meant to be used -
For example, memes go in the pictures and memes channel. And whatever you do, do not have a discussion in character submission channels, or any channel that is not for talking. Reduce the clutter.6. Do not argue with Staff -
If Staff tells you something is / isn't allowed, then that's it, do not excessively argue with them or try to bend the rules and guidelines. You may make suggestions or give your opinion, but do not outright go against their word. If you feel as if a staff member is being unfair in any way, then notify the owner or an admin and they will look into it.7. Try to use common sense -
The rules here are very simple, and straightforward. We are flexible, but use common sense if you don't see something here. We promote a friendly, and intelligent environment, and foolishness isn't needed. We expect you to also think for yourselves.8. Enforcement Methods -
When you do not follow the rules and guidelines of the server, Staff will enforce a basic procedure of two verbal warnings, followed by a mute. If you misbehave once more, you get your second mute. After that, it is a kick, followed by a full ban. Please try your best to help spread a friendly environment here. Depending on the severity of the offense, we also have the right to immediately remove somebody if it's bad enough, so behave.9. Be Active -
We cannot stress this enough! Activity ensures the server runs smoothly and efficiently, as well as promising a fun environment for all. Active people also have the chance of being granted higher tier characters, and spots in special events. Higher characters are a privilege, and must be earned. If you're inactive, then don't be surprised if you're limited on these things.10. All server related discussions belong in the server -
This means no DMing questions to staff without permission, or bugging other members in their DMs with questions or matters that can be handled in the server. We have channels for a reason, so use them.11. Do not RP in DMs only -
For obvious reasons, RPing in DMs only, takes away from the server. You can RP in DMs if it's something not for the public, but do not just stay there for long periods of time. If you do, we will automatically assume you're inactive in the server "Which you are". RPing in DMs is not only frowned upon, but also disrespectful to all the hard work that was put into creating and maintaining this server.12. Trolling isn't ok -
We take our content pretty seriously here, and want to provide a fun environment for all. Please consider the hard work that was put into this server. Do not deliberately post joke submissions, and please do not attempt to troll the server in general.13. Age requirement -
If you're caught lying about your age, you will be banned, no exceptions. It is unacceptable. If found that you are under 18, then you will be banned immediately. We wish to promote a mature and friendly environment, which will only be open to adults.14. English only -
This is an English speaking server, and that extends to it's literacy and grammar as well. Our standards fall within this specifically, so keep that in mind when making content or being in our server. Try your best if English is not your first language. You will not get special treatment if your English is bad. There are plenty of non-English speaking servers on Discord.15. No Politics -
Anything involving politics, whether it is extremism, presidential stuff, or even riots. These topics usually don't end in good conversations, and we'd rather avoid the subjects entirely. Everyone is diverse, and not everyone has the same views.16. Nitro Boosters -
Nitro Boosting enables you to get a special role name of your choosing, as well as a color code and a logo that sets you apart from everyone else. You will also have access to an exclusive Booster/Founders chat. You must ask for it in the questions and suggestions channel, because we will not always know if you boosted or not.17. Partnerships -
To partner with us, your server must be a friendly and welcoming community of at least 20 members. The Owner or a trusted Admin must contact us in order to establish a connection and send a trusted staff member to stay in our server to be a representative in good faith. That member will be given the Partner role. We will do the same thing for yours.

Roleplay Rules

1. Don't metagame -
This means you're not allowed to use information your character shouldn't have. For example, don't have your character suddenly know all a persons secrets or weaknesses without rightfully having gained that knowledge first.2. Don't powerplay -
Don't force actions on other characters, includes no autohitting, and no controlling characters that aren't yours. Discuss differences in character potential and have respect for one another.3. Don't control major NPCs -
While you may control minor things like a regular civilian, you may not control, for example, a canon if it isn't yours, or of a higher position, or anything of note unless they are your character. The only exception to this rule is staff, who may control any NPC due to GMing for other players to help them out in personal plot if the character isn't taken yet.4. Combat -
We run on honor based combat. Please use common sense when fighting one another. Take hits when it makes sense, and recognize that your opponent is indeed stronger if this is the case in that specific situation. A regular civilian for example, cannot best a highly dangerous swordsman one on one on pure skill, nor can they suddenly become a trained fighter or something overnight. Be creative and smart.5. PTK -
You may not kill characters without permission. However, you can wound or maim somebody if they are constantly harassing you. Discuss it with staff first and get permission from the other person if things get too out of hand. You will not lose your character due to the toxic behavior of another player, so do not worry.6. Rp in the third person, please -
Quite self explanatory.7. __Ask before joining a major faction, or being related to somebody __-
Don’t make weird headcanons without the character owner's permission, and don’t join factions without roleplaying the introduction first and going through the faction leader. Please have respect for the canon characters as well, because forcing relatives or kids on somebody is not fair to that player. Some people don't want kids.8. Ask First -
Before you join a rp, please ask the participants if it’s okay first.9. Please try to be Semi-Literate -
We highly encourage atleast 2-5 sentences minimum. Let's all have fun here! This includes spelling full words out. No shortcuts or slang unless your character actually speaks that way. Higher literacy also shows us you are deserving of higher characters. The higher the character, the more literacy will be required. For example a Disney princess or prince is not a minor character, and so they will require more effort on their sheets.10. Adult Roleplay -
Kissing, flirting, touching, and adult stuff is completely normal, and fine. We are all adults. But be respectful to the theme and story, and take our stuff seriously. And ALWAYS make sure that whoever you are doing adult stuff with is comfortable with it. If you would like to take things to DMs instead of roleplaying adult content in public, then you may do that as well. If you feel as though things got out of hand and feel unsafe, then please report it to staff. If you do roleplay NSFW in the server, then please put a NSFW tag on it so people know.11. Player equipment -
This roleplay doesn't work on video game logic. There's no inventory box. You can only carry what's realistically possible. So if your character has listed weapons and items, be sure to choose wisely before you go out.11. Tupperbot -
All players are required to use a Tupper for their character. This ensures a clean and organized roleplay atmosphere within the server, as well as a stable and consistent theme for everyone while roleplaying. Your picture for your tupper cannot be any kind of live action depiction. It must be some kind of artwork or animation of the character. If you draw your own content, then please make sure it also fits our theme as well. Stick figures and anime is not acceptable.12. Threads-
In our server, we use threads for roleplay scenes. Ensure that the thread of a scene is named correctly to represent what the scene is about or who is in it, and keep things organized. This is to ensure roleplay is condensed in the channels and it also others to easily find scenes without having to scroll through a million posts.

Guidelines

Character Faceclaims and Representation -
Despite this being a mature and realistic version of Disney, we still use whatever makes sense. Preferable a more mature representation of a character. Try to avoid cartoons and anime pictures. Semi-realistic artwork is allowed if there's nothing else.Stick to the theme for an OC -
OC characters must follow the set theme. Do not try and create anything too outlandish and doesn't make sense. Make sure you stick with the server theme and concept. Have respect for what was created here.Be detailed on your submission -
Don't be afraid to ask questions! 3 paragraph minimum for OC backgrounds and a 4 paragraph minimum for canon tryouts, so try and be creative! We want to know who your character is! This server is full of adults, so we expect maturity and effort.Being related to a character -
You must ask permission from the owner of the character before making it. Especially if that character is connected to lore or something directly related to a canon. And it MUST make sense. Just because it's your headcanon, doesn't mean it's valid or should be accepted.Player Housing -
You may live in any category as a holder of an OC, and are of course allowed to travel anywhere as well. This is an open world experience, and there's not many limitations set at all. Just like in real life, you are impeded only by your imagination and creativity. If you wish to have a home to call your very own, tell staff where you would like it, and we will create a channel for you. It will be fully integrated as part of the world.Familiar NPC's -
If you have NPC's for your character, you cannot use them as an advantage against others. They are meant for background and flavor for your character. Your character must still earn it's place and learn on their own.Character Versions -
Some characters have changed a lot in their movies for Disney. For example, some have had kids. The version of the character depends on who claims them first and what they decide to do with them. If a person claims Ariel for example and they decide they don't want her to be too old and have their daughter Melody, then that means Melody unfortunately won't exist in this server. We promote player choice in these regards.Canon Accuracy -
We are not super strict with the accuracy, as this is an original concept for Disney. But we do want players to try and stick to their characters as closely to the canon as possible. For example Disney Princesses and Princes should still be in love with their movie counterparts. Not go chasing an OC or some other Prince/Princess. Their concepts heavily rely on their one true loves in the movies. The same goes for sexual preferences as well. If you know a character is heterosexual, then please don't try and make them a Lesbian or Homosexual, as in some cases this breaks their own canon relationships. If you don't want that, then don't claim the character. It goes against the Canon. The same with turning a confirmed Lesbian or Homosexual character into a Heterosexual. Now if there's a grey area where a source never specifically implied that a character wasn't fully hetero, then you may headcanon that character as Bisexual instead if that's your preference.Reserving Characters -
We are ok with you reserving a character, but you can only reserve one character at a time, and you must post an audition within 72 hours, or others will be allowed to request for them as well. Sitting on characters is not fair to others. If you fail to post an audition for a character, then you will have to wait 24 hours before you can reserve again. You are still allowed to request for a character normally and post your audition though. It just needs to be on the same day. Old requests will eventually be deleted if they are no longer active.

Limitations

- Magic: Magic might be seen a lot in Disney movies, but that doesn't mean it is a common thing. Those with magic are almost always special cases, as evident by the Disney characters that have it. If you wish to have magic as an OC, then you must ask first, and your submission must make sense as to why you even have it in the first place. We will not approve a magic character simply because a person wants it. Otherwise, everybody would be running around with magical powers. Balance is very important, and if everyone is running around with magic, then it wouldn't be very special, would it?- Major Canons: We are not super strict on claiming characters, but we do atleast want to keep balance. So a person is allowed to claim more than one major canon, but please try to be considerate when going for these characters. You shouldn't have four Disney princesses and Princes for example, because then none would be available to other people. Availability will be determined by the number of people in the server. So if the server has a small community and we need roles filled, then we may allow more characters to be claimed by the same people. There is of course no limit to supporting characters.- Same Sources: This is our major limitation. All of your canon characters must be from a different source. For example if you have Cinderella, then you cannot have another character from her movies also. We do this to promote diversity and variety among characters for members, and so they aren't just roleplaying with themselves.

Banned

- Original Royalty: If you wish to be of royal blood, then you must be one of the canons or related. You cannot make up your own bloodline and ruling. There's way too many canon princesses and princes that exist already that cover each major portion of the world, so please try to fill those roles instead. An exception being a cousin / aunt / uncle or relative related to the prince or princess, as that is allowed if it makes sense. If somebody has more than one royal character, then you may DM that person and ask them if they'd be willing to give up one. No harm in asking right? Let's all have fun here!- Anthropomorphic Animals: Characters like Mickey, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Etc. That side of Disney doesn't exist. All of our characters in Fantasia are either human, or some kind of humanoid race. With the exception of actual animals, which are allowed. Like Simba for example. Monsters and other various creatures of Disney are allowed as well.- Sources Not Allowed: Below are sources that we decided not to include in our server, and so they do not exist at all.
